Midori no Hibi or Midori Days [as it is known in the US] is a tale of love and fate. Seiji Sawamura is the toughest kid in school. With his 'devil's right hand,' he takes down anyone who gets in his way. However, this backfires on him as, so far, he gets rejected by 20 girls. He worries that he will end his life with his right hand as his only companion. However, his right hand soon becomes a real companion as he discovers that his right hand is now a girl! The girl is Midori Kasugano and confesses to Seiji that she has had a crush on him for the last three years. Somehow, life for the two of them goes on, though not without some trouble
